We love holiday crafts and activities. This mummy pumpkin craft for kids is fun for fall or Halloween and it won’t break the bank! It’s easy and inexpensive!

AN orange foam sheet cut into the shape of a pumpkin. The pumpkin has white strips to make it look like a mummy and then it has a silly pumpkin face. A pumpkin activity for kids.

It’s so exciting to explore with the sight of the seasons. The boys really get into decorating for the holidays and they love seasonal crafts when we get downtime. This 5-Minute Pumpkin Craft for Kids is simple. So if you have a play date or a preschool class, simply prep the materials ahead of time and then the kiddos can assemble their pumpkins.

Materials

  • Orange foam sheet
  • White foam sheet
  • Construction Paper (green, white, black, red, yellow)
  • Glue

For younger kids, you may want to start by cutting out the various shapes. Cut out the shape of the pumpkin, the mummy strips, and even the shapes for the pumpkin face. For older children, cutting out the shapes and designing their pumpkin face is part of the fun and it’s great scissor skill practice!

Then, it’s time to assemble your mummy pumpkin activity! Layer the mummy strips and then glue the face on top. Don’t forget to add a stem.

This 5-Minute Pumpkin Craft is easy and fun! The kids really seem to enjoy making their pumpkin faces and mummifying the pumpkin!
